We are delighted to announce that applications are open for the second window of our Responsive Research and Evaluation Fund (RREF2), supported by the Gender and Adolescence: Global Evidence (GAGE) programme. The fund will be used to respond to emerging knowledge gaps and demands over the life of the programme. The total budget for this second window is up to £200,000, for which we are now inviting proposals.
The call this year is focused on the theme of voice and agency, one of the six adolescent capability domain outcomes included in the GAGE Conceptual Framework.
In 2018, the RREF2 will be open to all organisations – not just GAGE consortium members. We do however expect that all applications will have a Southern based partner.
We will hold a webinar on the application process on Tuesday 2nd October – please let us know if you wish to receive an invite to this webinar.
We invite clarification questions on this Request for Proposals, which must be submitted by Friday 21st September at 18:00 GMT time to GAGE-RREF@odi.org.uk. Please note that we can only respond to questions regarding the research call process, eligibility and thematic focus; we cannot provide feedback on individual proposal ideas at this stage. We will share all the questions received and responses with all applicants on Friday 28th September 2018.
Applicants are required to submit a completed application form and budget, outlining their proposal, in response to this Request for Proposals, and demonstrating eligibility and experience. Please email GAGE-RREF@odi.org.uk to request a copy of the template.
The deadline for submitting applications is Friday 26th October at 18:00 UK time.
Completed application forms must be submitted to GAGE-RREF@odi.org.uk.
We expect to make preliminary awards by the end November 2018, which may be subject to recipients meeting any additional funding conditions or agreed adjustments to their submissions.
