The goal of FemNet4GTE is that all learners, regardless of gender or sex, be supported with gender-transformative education (GTE)* to realise their full potential and contribute to achieving equal, just societies including by removing barriers to girls’ and women’s rights. This convention seeks to begin to institutionalise FemNet4GTE to achieve its long term vision by articulating a shared understanding of gender transformative education and mapping key players, barriers and opportunities to accelerate GTE through 2025.
