Room to Read Nepal has implemented a multi-year programme to support girls’ education transitions from primary through secondary education and to minimise school dropouts due to child marriage.

The programme (2018 to 2025) has been carried out in remote rural localities in Nuwakot and Tanahun districts.

GAGE has conducted a mixed methods longitudinal evaluation of the programme following approximately 500 girls involved in the programme as well as a control sample.
