Voice and agency publications
GAGE’s research on voice and agency focuses on adolescents’ autonomy, and whether they have a meaningful say in the decisions that shape their lives. This includes day-to- day decisions around mobility and time use, as well as bigger decisions around whether to stay in education, find work, or marry.
The research also looks at young people’s access to role models, civic participation, and how they engage with digital spaces. GAGE pays careful attention to differences between girls and boys, adolescents from host and refugee communities, and those with and without disabilities.
