GAGE’s research on nutrition, health, and sexual and reproductive health explores the myriad risks facing adolescents (from workplace injuries to substance use), and the information and services available to them.
Critically, given that sexual maturity is a hallmark of adolescence, GAGE research also focuses on whether adolescents have access to timely and accurate puberty education, whether girls are supported to manage menstruation at home and in school, and whether young people have access to youth-friendly information and services that can help them stay healthy and plan their future family.
