Education and learning
GAGE’s research on education and learning focuses on how adolescents gain the knowledge and skills they need to develop their capabilities in a rapidly changing world. GAGE explores adolescents’ aspirations for education, and caregivers’ support for their adolescent’s education (including practical support such as the time and materials they need for schooling).
GAGE also assesses the educational services available to adolescents, considering whether they are safe to access, affordable, child-friendly and gender-responsive, and inclusive of particularly vulnerable adolescents such as those with disabilities or refugees.
