The Girl Rising evaluation in Bangaldesh is a partnership with UNICEF Bangladesh and Girl Rising focusing on supporting the empowerment and self-efficacy of 500 adolescent girls in Cox’s Bazar Rohingya camps. The intervention uses relatable stories, videos, and illustrated storybooks to foster hope and belief in girls' futures, coupled with a parent programme designed to increase support for girls' education.
GAGE has carried out a randomised control trial of a Girl Rising pilot in Chittagong and Sylhet Divisions (2020-2024), and building on this evaluation experience, is also the evaluation partner for the Girl Rising Rohingya pilot (2025).
