Qualitative research toolkits
GAGE’s qualitative research toolkits provide researchers and practitioners with practical tools and step-by-step guidelines to successfully conduct individual and focus group qualitative research. GAGE qualitative tools are designed to ensure meaningful and in-depth conversation with adolescents, their caregivers and families, their communities, key informants and other relevant stakeholders on specific thematic areas, including education and learning, risks to bodily integrity, including specific toolkits on child marriage and FGM, gender norm change, sexual and reproductive health, digital inclusion, economic empowerment and more.
GAGE qualitative toolkits range from sample interviews and discussion probes adapted to research intervals (baseline, midline, endline), to vignettes and cards used for impact evaluations, and virtual data collection efforts.
