A decade on from the 2015 Global Girls Summit at which global leaders met in London to discuss how best to fast-track social justice for adolescent girls globally, the world is facing a critical historical moment characterised by multiple andintersecting challenges. This polycrisis is profoundly affecting young people’s current lives and future trajectories, including the legacy effects of the COVID-19 pandemic, economic malaise with high levels of youth unemployment and compoundef by climate shocks (Lawrence et al., 2024).
